Lincoln Continues Search for Farm Aid Legislative Vehicle

Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., last week failed to attach her $1.5 billion agriculture disaster funding proposal to a must-have 2010 supplemental war spending bill. Hers was just one of a number of domestic spending proposals that went down in flames as senators worked to keep the bill as free of non-germane spending as possible.
